David is a Certified Public Accountant and a former Senior Partner of Ernst & Young Eastern Africa. He has worked in a number of African countries where he has gathered extensive experience in audit, tax advice and financial management, reconstruction and consulting covering many sectors. He is a non-executive director of the Insurance Company of East Africa Ltd, East Africa Reinsurance Company Ltd, East African Packaging Industries Ltd, Prime Bank Ltd, Kentainers Ltd, Synresins Ltd, and a director of several companies in the Banda educational and property groups.
Bharat is the founding shareholder of the Scangroup and a director of all Scangroup subsidiaries. He has working experience in advertising and communications spanning over thirty six years. He holds a Diploma in Advertising and Marketing from the Communications and Marketing Foundation – UK. Bharat is also a director of Internet Solutions Kenya Ltd and Valley Terrace Ltd. He is a former chairman of the Advertising Practitioners Association (APA) and is a member of the Advertising Standards Board. In 2009 he undertook courses in Executive Management at the Harvard Business School.
Manish is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Bombay and a Diploma in Information & System Management from APTECH Computer Education. He has a wealth of experience spanning 12 years in advertising and marketing industry having worked with the French advertising group, Publics, in India prior to joining Scanad in 2003.
Richard, an advocate of the High Court of Kenya, holds a Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB, Hons) from the University of Nairobi. Richard is the Managing Partner of Hamilton Harrison and Mathews Advocates. He is a member of the Law Society of Kenya and the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya. He is also the Chairman of Kenya Rugby Football Union.
Muchiri holds a BA in Economics from the University of Nairobi and an Advanced Certificate in Management from the Strathmore Business School. He is also a Fellow of the Aspen Leadership Institute. With over 20 years of retail experience, Muchiri is currently the Managing Director of Deacons Kenya Ltd. He chairs the Moi Equator Girls School Board and is also a member of the Federation of Kenya Employers (FKE) Board as well as the Archdiocese of Nyeri Education Advisory Board. In 2005 he was awarded the Head of State Commendation medal for implementing performance contracts in public institutions on behalf of the Government of Kenya.
Andrew has since 1999 been WPP's Director of Corporate Development spearheading the Group's global mergers and acquisitions. He also leads WPP's International Specialist Communications Division which comprises Promotion and Relationship Marketing, Sports Marketing, Custom Publishing and Media, Technology and Production Services. Prior to joining WPP Andrew was a strategy consultant at LEK Consulting. He holds an MBA with distinction from INSEAD.
Christopher graduated with an honours degree in Pure Mathematics and trained as a Chartered Accountant at KPMG. Prior to joining WPP in 1989, Chris worked for 9 years at PepsiCo. He is currently the Deputy Group CFO at WPP.
Margaret was appointed Company Secretary in August 2009 and serves on the Boards of Scangroup's Kenyan subsidiaries in this capacity. She is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a Certified Public Secretary. She is a member of the Law Society of Kenya, the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya and the Institute of Directors - Kenya.
